Welcome Baby!

This card making is so fun! I went to Michael's for the first time since I started my new hobby and found so much good stuff! So, here I am posting another one of MY cards. I tried out 2 new techniques taught to me by my super talented friend Cole (check out her blog). This is only my second image using colour blending with pencil crayons and my first time working with FLOWER SOFT.....which is very cool! I am entering my card in the Catch the Bug challenge - bright colours and flower soft.

Happy Father's Day

So this blog has mostly been for my girls and their cards, but I am finally posting one of my own (after some convincing from my friend and mentor)! I am entering my card for the Catch the Bug challenge: Grads, Dads and other summer celebrations - perfect I got 2 / 3 covered. I got this image as a freebie from Bugaboo. I just love all their digital stamps!

Happy Birthday Princess

I wanted to enter the Food and Drink challenge at Messy's Mini Missions so my mom helped my find an awesome cupcake digi at Limited Runs Stamps. I used the happy birthday banner digi I got as a freebie at Bits and Bobs. I really liked punching out the letters to add PRINCESS on the front of the card.

Happy First Birthday!

I wanted to enter the Food & Drink Challenge at Messy's Mini Missions so I looked for a digital stamp at Bugaboo stamps where everything is half off for the month of May! I chose this super cute cupcake bear (you can get it here) and decided to make a 1st birthday card for my cousin who will be 1 in a couple of weeks. Which is perfect cause the cupcake only has 1 candle. I got the Happy Birthday banner as a freebie at http://scrappingbits.blogspot.com/.  I was very excited to add some bling that my mom just picked up at the dollar store this weekend! Spring Challenge - I love bees!

I love bees! As long as they don't sting me! I chose this cute free digital stamp my mom found at Digi My World (http://digimyworld.blogspot.com/2011/05/ur-bee-utiful-to-me-free-digital-stamp.html) to use on my card.  I used all the different coloured markers we have to colour the letters and designed the card myself....with the 2 circles under the bee and the sentiment. Spring Challenge - I love skipping!

My favourite thing about spring is skipping! My mom found this digital stamp from http://digitalpenciltoo.com/ and I thought it was perfect for my spring card. Pretty Kitty's first card challenge

I LOVE MAKING CARDS! My mom got her new markers and ink this week and my sister and I started using them right away. We decided to enter a few challenges at http://konakidkrafters.blogspot.com/ and http://stitchybearskids.blogspot.com/. I chose a free digi stamp my mom got from http://www.bugaboostamps.com/  and found a great red button to go with my red coloured rose. My mom helped with the cutting and placement of my card but I glued it all my self. Thanks for looking : )

Miss E's first card challenge

My mom just started making cards (actually on April 1st - just like Stitchy's Store start date LOL). Now my sister and I really like card making too. We especially like the new markers and are very proud of our finished work.
