The twins say thank-you

Here are some thank - you cards the boys made for the following challenges:

The Crafters Cafe November Kids Challenge - Thanksgiving or Thank-You
Craft Your Passion Kids Challenge #2 Seeing Red

Merci means thank-you in French. The boys really liked stamping and writing their own words in the thought bubble and and on the bug's sign! Andrew used a RED marker to colour his sleeping bunny. Riley usually uses RED cause it is his favourite colour, but opted for orange this time ;)

P.K.'s penguin

I saw my mom's penguin card and had to make the same one! Same image from BUGABOO stamps, same sketch from Sketches by Carly but I did choose different colours and papers to work with. We also added CTMH liquid applique to make it look like he has a fuzzy tuque and clear glitter for the snow.  I am entering my card in these challenges:

Craft Your Passion Kid's Challenges - Challenge #2 Seeing RED
Digi Doodle Shop Challenge - Challenge #83 Red and Green
Sketches by Carly - Challenge #44

Profitez de fetes

Here is another French Christmas card (digi and inspiration from Birds Cards). The girls made a similar one....their first attempt at paper piecing.....it went surprisingly well. The papers are from a new paper pack I picked up in Grand Forks at Target. We need to replenish our supply of Christmas cards cause my sister bought 10 cards from the girls. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday #181 so I will enter their challenge. Thanks again for looking and have a great day!

Joyeux Noel

It has been so long since I have posted one of my own cards! I have mostly been working on Little Hands Challenge Blog (our kid's challenge blog) and helping all 4 kids with their card making. When I do have time or am inspired to make cards I am usually making Christmas cards....cause you never can have enough of those. Although I did attend an awesome camp a few weeks ago....which got me back to the craft room! My digis and inspiration came from Birds Cards and the sketch is from Sketch N Stash. I am entering Challenge #74....the stash is actually my friends new French Christmas sentiments that she already borrowed me. My kids go to a French school so the cards we give to friends and teachers are often in French. Thanks for looking!

Cute OWL

Here is the Cute Owl card I made for our 2nd challenge at Little Hands Challenge Blog.  Our sponsor is Fresh Brewed Designs and she has a whole section of owl digis to choose from. I love the colour pink and found this pretty flower at Cole's house to add to my card. We all tried to copy my sister's design....you can check it out at Miss E Makes... I am also entering my card at Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog where ANYTHING GOES for November. Thanks for looking ;) P.K.

A 2nd giraffe card

Here is a 2nd card I made for Little Hands Challenge Blog using Gerry 'n Gina Giraffe from Prairie Fairy Designs. It is a birthday card and maybe I will give it to my friend whose party is later this month. I used glitter for Gina's scarf and I used Cole's cuttlebug to emboss the light pink paper and to cut it in the shape of an oval so that my giraffe could fit inside. I hope you will choose your favourite animal and join us for the challenge that ends November 15th.

Love Bears

Here is Riley's bear card for The Children's Challenge Corner. He made it for his uncle whose birthday was this week. He tries hard to keep his colouring in the lines! He loves glueing the card together and really liked adding the red flowers to this project.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Bear

Here is the bear card Andrew made for the challenge he got to choose at the Children's Challenge Corner. This card is for his Grandpa who's birthday was this week. He loves to color the whole digi....background and all! He also really enjoys stamping! Thanks for looking!

Little Hands Challenge Blog

Come one, come all!!!! My mom and her friend have started a new challenge blog for KIDS.  It's called Little Hands Challenge Blog.  My sister and I are on the design team. Challenge #1 is your favourite animal. Our first sponsor is Prairie Fairy Designs and she let us each choose a digi from her store. I loved the giraffes named Lil Gina and Gerry. We even got together with the other team members and made our cards together. I love working at Cole's house cause she has some awesome supplies. I tried her Cuttlebug and even chose some googly eyes to put on my giraffe. Hope you all come and participate in our challenges - it'll be a lot of fun if you do.
