Summer Cheers

My mom found 2 new challenges for me to enter and I LOVE making cards for challenges. The first one is called "Dreaming of a Summer Day" at The Stamping Boutique. If you use the freebie they chose they will email you another - so fun! The second one is a layers challenge at Iris's Spot. I have 4 layers! Today is my first day of summer vacation. It is VERY hot here today so I thought I would cool off inside and make this card.

Here is another teacher thank - you card. I used the new french tags I got from Whimsy Stamps and the old papers and ribbon that I got at a garage sale. With that being said I am entering my card in the Something Old, Something New! challenge at Totally Stampalicious. I used the sketch at Sketch Saturday and am entering this week's challenge #160. I'm getting into making our "end of the year" teacher thank - you cards. My daughters are having some friends over tomorrow so I have prepped some card making supplies for them. Including this card as a template. I used the sketch and am entering the challenge this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I am also using this card as my 2nd entry for Totally Stampalicious Anything Goes.

Berry Best Dad

As usual I was checking the Free Digital Stamps website when I found this super cute berry stamp from Digi My World. Well when I download these digis I envision the card I want to make so I had to make yet another Father's Day Card. Which turned out to be a good thing cause there are a lot of Father's Day/Masculine challenges right now.

World`s Greatest Dad

Guess what?! My dad is the greatest! Since Father`s Day is this weekend I made him this card. He loves basketball and golf and he coaches soccer so I thought a ball card would be right up his alley. I wrote him a poem and put a surprise in the fun pocket that slide in and out. I am entering my card as a second entry at Kona Kid`s Krafters and Stitchy Bear Kids - Anything Goes.

My Dad is a Rockstar

My dad plays the guitar. I love when he plays his music. Sometime I sing along. I made this card for him for Father's Day. I love adding glitter to my cards. My mom went to a card making evening and she learned how to make these neat cards where there is a pocket and a piece of paper slides in and out. I really wanted to try making one of those kind of card so here it is! I am entering it the following challenges: Kona Kid`s Krafters (2nd entry -Anything Goes) and Stichy Bear Kids (2nd entry - Anything Goes).

Here is my 3rd and final entry for Catch the Bug Anything Goes Challenge. I had to make this one a Bugaboo image! Got this great Pirate Monkey from Bugaboo and the Ahoy sentiment as a freebie from Meljens . I was inspired by a card I saw when checking out the DT at Catch the Bug....actually Tammy Miller the DT coordinator for this challenge! I made this card with one of my many pirate loving nephews in mind (I have 8 nephews BTW). I am also entering my card in Cute Card Thursday.....where Challenge 167 is Embellish It! TFL!
