Happy Birthday to You!

The other day we took my sister to her friend's house. Her mom is the one who got our family into card making and she still borrows us some of her supplies. While we were there she gave me a page of digis and this cool grass to use on a card! This cute donkey was my favourite. It is a Meljens image. I used blue paper to look like sky. O Christmas Tree

One last Christmas in July mini challenge at Catch the Bug and it is Anything Goes. My daughter coloured this image awhile back, so this card is a combined effort! The polka dot Christmas tree is from The Crafty Nomad - they sure have some nice Christmas digis and sentiments. My sentiment is from SU. Meet Winter William. He is a freebie I picked up at Pink Gem Designs. The sentiment is yet another one from The Crafty Nomad (also a freebie). Christmas Sketch Challenge

I love a good sketch challenge! This one is part of the daily Christmas in July festivities at Catch the Bug. I used this cute Polly Penguin digi from the DigiStamp Boutique.  I am entering it in the Glitter challenge at Sew Many Challenge since I used some glitter for the snow and the ornament. We sure like using buttons on our cards at our house....so much so that they are now all over the living room - thanks to one of my twin 4 year old monkeys!!!! I will also enter my card at :

10th Anniversary Card

Our tenth anniversary is this Thursday. Looking forward to our date night : ) In the meantime, I took a break from making Christmas card and chose this great digi I got from one of my most favourite sites - Melonheadz to make my hubby a card. Holy Family

A while back I decided to try out my "new" (bought secondhand) Holy Family SU stamp set and then I thought maybe it is a good idea to get a head start on Christmas cards and then I realized that all card makers do that and now Catch the Bug is having a CHRISTMAS IN JULY bloghop and daily challenges, so......I decided to use this one for the non traditional colours challenge.
