3rd Mother's Day Card

No I do not have 3 mothers. Just one and a mother in law but I had sooo many beautiful mother's day cards I wanted to make so I have made 3....and.....I am not sure if that's it yet!!! I found one like this on Pinterest and figured I could reproduce it so I did. I am using it as my 2nd entry at Catch the Bug May Anything Goes.

MOM

Here is a card I made using another one of the new images I just got at Bugaboo Stamps.  I used the sketch at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenges....which by the way all 3 are right up my alley!!! Bugaboo is also the sponsor over there so I figured I should definitely join in. Finally I am entering Catch the Bug May Anything Goes. TFL and have a good Sunday - the sun just came out so we are going to get outside and enjoy it....

If Mother's were Flowers...

I recently got a few new images from Bugaboo so I decided to colour this one up and use it for a Mother's Day card.  The sentiment mom and the one inside (If Mother's were Flowers I'd Pick You) are from Clear Dollar Stamps.  I am entering my card at Sketches by Carly #55 where Bugaboo is the sponsor. I am also entering the challenge at Dutch Dare Card Challenge #163 - Spring Has Sprung (Mother's Day in the spring.....flower growing and being picked). - Bugaboo is also the sponsor. Thanks for looking!

Mother's Day Handprint Crafts

One of my favourite challenge blogs is Stitches n Scraps Crafting with Kids cause it encourages quality time with my kids doing something I love....crafting! I enjoy checking out and choosing different ideas from Pinterest and then making them happen with one (or as usual ALL) of my 4 kids. The current theme was 'make something for mom' so we made something for mom and grandmas. The first craft is mom's handprint and then the kids handprint on top....a very sweet keepsake if you ask me!!! The 2nd craft I chose was a flower using the child's handprint and then painting on a stem, leaves and your own personal message...I may even reuse this one at a preschool playgroup I run closer to Mother's Day. Thanks for looking and hope you are inspired to craft with your kids......they are only young and eager for so long!

A Bugaboo Easter Card

Such a sweet image from Bugaboo......I had to make another card! The sketch is for a challenge I just found Stella Says Sketch 107. I really should have used these sketches before since we are frequent visitors to the Bugaboo sites. I used our corner punch, which is one of my favourite tools. I just love the extra something it gives the paper. So that is why I am entering Simon Says Stamps Favourite Tool Challenge. Finally I am entering at Catch the Bug Challenge - Spring/Easter and Prairie Fairy Fridays - Anything Goes. TFL and HAPPY EASTER to you!!!

In the mood to make a card

I got some colouring tips from my card making buddy last week and so I decided to try it out for myself. After a few attempts I am semi-happy with the final product I have here. Unfortunately I do not have the awesome markers, the time or the patience necessary to do an amazing job but I made due with what I do have! I popped up the flower pot but only because I really liked what I did on my first attempt and had to salvage some of my time spent on colouring that image! The image is from Bugaboo. I used Sketch #201 at Sketch Saturday and am entering the following challenges:

Catch the Bug - Spring/Easter
Fairy Fun Fridays - Spring
Incy Wincy Designs - Pastel
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Tender Thoughts - sorry this is actually Miss E's post so I also put it on her blog!

A Day for Daisies is our sponsor at Little Hands Challenge Blog. I chose this digi called Tender Thoughts for our Easter challenge because Easter is not only about bunnies and egg hunts. It is about Jesus who died on the cross on Good Friday and rose to heaven in the Ressurection. I imagine this girl praying to Jesus and remembering him on Easter.  I am also entering my card in these challenges:

Jellypark Juniors - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog - Easter/Spring Project
Craft Your Passion Kids - Spring

TFL and I hope you will join us at Little Hands Challenge Blog cause I love seeing all the kids who enter.

P.K.'s birthday card

I grabbed this image as a freebie at Bugaboo a few weeks ago and knew right away that I would use it for P.K.'s birthday card. You may think it is because she likes cats, but that is NOT it. Actually hardly any of my kid's like animals, which is ok with me! P.K. is short for Pretty Kitty and that is a nickname I have for her just cause she is such a sweet little kitty.  When I make a card....which is not very often.....I love to use a sketch so I was pretty happy to find an awesome sketch at Catch the Bug Challenge and so that is the challenge that I am entering. Anyhow she loved the card and we had a very happy birthday!!!

Boys valentine cards

Of course because the girls are busy making Valentine's cards for their classmates, the boys wanted to join in the fun. We practiced our cutting skills (to cut out the hearts), our ABC sounds to figure out the first letter of our friends' names and our fine motor skills to print the letters. They will definitely be ready for Kindergarten in the fall!

Prairie Fairy has Valentine's Candy! You can check it out and enter the draw here. You could win this awesome CTMH stamp set.

So not only do we have to post the candy & link in the side bar but you have to write about post about what you LOVE.  Cliche or not but I love my family - my husband and my kids......they are everything to me.  I also love to organize. You may not know it by my house cause I have had to let a few things slide cause I just cannot keep up with 4 kids and all their stuff, but I am currently organizing our dance school's year end concert and I am really loving it!!!

Wishing You Joy this Christmas!

Here is P.K.'s card for inspiration at The Crafter's Cafe Kid's Challenge. The theme is Christmas. The image and sentiment are from The Crafty Nomad.   "I chose this angel because I like angels. I put some jewels on her dress.  My mom put the jewels on the bottom near the sentiment and I do not like it. Hope you leave a comment for me." Love from P.K. The twins say thank-you

Here are some thank - you cards the boys made for the following challenges:

The Crafters Cafe November Kids Challenge - Thanksgiving or Thank-You
Craft Your Passion Kids Challenge #2 Seeing Red

Merci means thank-you in French. The boys really liked stamping and writing their own words in the thought bubble and and on the bug's sign! Andrew used a RED marker to colour his sleeping bunny. Riley usually uses RED cause it is his favourite colour, but opted for orange this time ;)

Profitez de fetes

Here is another French Christmas card (digi and inspiration from Birds Cards). The girls made a similar one....their first attempt at paper piecing.....it went surprisingly well. The papers are from a new paper pack I picked up in Grand Forks at Target. We need to replenish our supply of Christmas cards cause my sister bought 10 cards from the girls. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday #181 so I will enter their challenge. Thanks again for looking and have a great day!

Joyeux Noel

It has been so long since I have posted one of my own cards! I have mostly been working on Little Hands Challenge Blog (our kid's challenge blog) and helping all 4 kids with their card making. When I do have time or am inspired to make cards I am usually making Christmas cards....cause you never can have enough of those. Although I did attend an awesome camp a few weeks ago....which got me back to the craft room! My digis and inspiration came from Birds Cards and the sketch is from Sketch N Stash. I am entering Challenge #74....the stash is actually my friends new French Christmas sentiments that she already borrowed me. My kids go to a French school so the cards we give to friends and teachers are often in French. Thanks for looking!

Cute OWL

Here is the Cute Owl card I made for our 2nd challenge at Little Hands Challenge Blog.  Our sponsor is Fresh Brewed Designs and she has a whole section of owl digis to choose from. I love the colour pink and found this pretty flower at Cole's house to add to my card. We all tried to copy my sister's design....you can check it out at Miss E Makes... I am also entering my card at Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog where ANYTHING GOES for November. Thanks for looking ;) P.K.

So grateful!

A new month a new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe. This bear is from Jen's Digi Stamps who is the sponsor for this month's Thank - you /Thanksgiving themed challenge. This bear's name is PJ and my nickname is PK....I thought that was kind of cool when I chose this digi!!! I am also entering my card at the Children's Challenge Corner where my brother chose Bears as this months challenge.
